Just another reason to start a parenting blog….chicken pox
On the first day we made pirate egg caps. They are easy to do and make lunch or breakfast fun.
You need black card, white paper, glue and a pair of scissors.
If you don’t have any black card handy you can always paint what you have.
1. Cut a piece of black card (or paper) about 12cm x 15cm, fold in half so that the short ends are together and the fold is at the top.
2. Bend the card (paper) in half and pinch the corner to make a mark – the mark shows where the middle is – unfold the paper and fold the corners into the middle.
3. Fold up the top layer of paper at the bottom of the hat. Then turn the hat over and fold the paper on that side up in the same way
4. Secure the edges with glue. Cut a small skull and crossbones out of white paper and glue them on the front.
