Carnival fun

carnevale-2

On Saturday we had really good fun at the carnival parade. Most schools in our town took part, we all had to follow the theme of OLD TRADES, our school represented the old millers. We even had a watermill made of  cardboard on wheels and all the children and parents were dressed with blue shirts, white trousers or skirt, long white aprons and a chef’s hat. The children prepared a choreographed dance which they performed through the streets with the teachers. They were really cute as you can just imagine 3, 4 and 5 years old parading at the sound of music. Other groups represented the old fishermen and their wives, the ice cream makers with the ice cream cones, the bakers; the tailors were lovely, their costumes were a mixture of buttons, tape measures and thimbles.

After the parade there was dancing on the streets and doughnuts for everybody.
