Learning road safety through play

road-signs

What a great way to teach children the fundamental rules of road safety than creating fun games. I found this set of road signs on Modern Lola and I immediately thought of numerous possible outdoor games to play in the summer. Ideal for kids’ garden parties, these road signs can be used to build a fantasy village in the garden as the background play to all sorts of games finalised to learning the signs. You could even use a score board for points, children are competition driven creatures after all. The set includes 4 signs: 1 stop, 1 yield, 1 pedestrian crossing and 1 do not enter. The same line of toys also offers a traffic light that can be sold as stand alone or as a two-piece set with a stop sign.
