Safe sun exposure with suncreen monitoring wristband
I took my son to the beach yesterday afternoon after school. It was so hot it felt like August, which is very unusual for June after 4pm. My sun tanning days are truly over, I couldn’t bear to be out in the sun so I sat in the shade until the sun was a little more bearable. Children on the other hand just want to play in the water where the sun rays are still very strong, so I make sure I apply SPF 50 sunscreen on my son’s skin before sun exposure. I reapply the lotion regularly, although I am never quite sure if I apply it too often or not often enough. Now you can monitor the level of protection with the UVSunSense™ wristband, which is made to be used in conjunction with SPF 15 sunscreen and over. It’s very easy to use, simply put on your wrist and apply sun lotion over the skin and the bracelet, which turns purple with sun exposure. When it’s time to reapply the lotion the writing “Apply Sunscreen to this Side” appears on the wristband, when the words fade it is recommended to cover up or get out of the sun altogether. UVSunSense™ wristbands can be used on adults and children. For a correct use only one band per person per day should be worn. Bands are made of polypropylene so they can be recycled. UVSunSense™ wristbands are available to buy online from Amazon; a pack of 7 costs $5.87.
