Photo Friday: Barcelona trip
These photos are from our trip to Barcelona in May. It was our second time there in two years. We loved the city so much that we had to go back to hit all the places we missed the first time round. Barcelona is packed with fun activities and sites to visit with kids. The first time round we visited the zoo, which was one of the best I have seen, this time we went to the aquarium, which wasn’t the best but still a lot of fun. We also spent a whole afternoon at the Tibidabo fun fair at the top of the Collserola Mountain from where we enjoyed the most amazing views over the city and bay. We wandered around the many markets and bought our daily provisions of fruit at the wonderful market of La Bouqueria along La Rambla, which is a must for the food lovers.

Wow! The view from the fun fair was amazing.
Love the photo of the people on the ride, and the perspective of the boy on the bench. Barcelona looks fantastic!
This is a side of Barcelona I never knew about. The 3rd picture on of the fun with a view, is really cool.
I love the shot of the fountain and the swings! How did you get them?
Thanks, the photo of the fountain was taken from the top of the steps leading down to Placa Espanya and the photo of the swings was taken while it was going round while I was standing at the side. I am not on the actual swings.
Closest I got to Barcelona was going to a fab Barcelona! exhibit at the Cleveland Museum of Art. Sounds like a fascinating place with tons of great art, history and culture. Thanks for sharing your trip.
