With favourite children classics hitting the App Store, it is not surprising to find Old MacDonald joined the latest trends and got his very own iPhone to use on his farm! Fish The Mouse Media is the company behind the rejuvenation of one of the most popular classic children songs. This engaging app features beautiful drawings that for once are not computer generated but come from original artwork painted on canvas, which gives the app an aura of quality. The songs are performed by pop vocalists Jill Sobule (in English) and Dominique Durand of Ivy (in French).  Interactivity is key to any good app, and this one has plenty of it. Not only you can select the musical instruments with different takes of the song including bluegrass band, guitar, mandolin and banjo, you can also sing along or let the little one be the star and even record him/her.
