I have just returned from my Easter break, which was also the Christening of my nephew. The cutest child you can imagine and my first godson. We were away only for a few days but it was a hectic trip as we flew to Pisa and then drove all the way up to Milan for Easter Sunday and Monday. Luckily bank holiday Monday was a beautiful sunny day and we were able to have a garden party after the Church Christening. Food was plentiful as you would expect at an Italian party. But most of all I was impressed with the little gifts for the guests, which added an original touch to an already relaxed do.  They were small sculptures, individually made out of play dough and finished with non toxic paint.  These lovely animal faces and clowns are the perfect gift to remember a special day. Each sculpture is tied with ribbon to a transparent box of baby blue sugar almonds.
