I have recently come across The Gallery hosted on Sticky Fingers, a weekly link up of photographs that follows a different theme every week. When I saw this week’s theme, Before & After, I immediately thought of something, which would be perfect for my first submission. When our son was very young we made him the Nemo bed in the first photograph, but when he grew out of it we were left with a cute bespoke bed that we didn’t want to part with.

One evening my husband and I were considering what to do with it after a clear up and that’s how we had the idea that turned the Nemo bed into the Nemo desk. The photos are taken 5 years apart: in the first my son as a 2 year old who was happily trying out his new bed, while the last photo was taken recently and shows my son doing his homework.
