When I designed the photo calendar to give to grandparents I made one for myself in the process. It was fun and in the end I came up with a great gift that was truly appreciated. You can’t go wrong giving grandparents something useful that involves pictures of their grandchildren. I was so pleased with it that I had to print one for myself too, but I am still out of a desk calendar so I had a look around for printable options.

I found a great one on Etsy, a pretty desk calendar with funky digital drawings by MichelleMaBellexx which comes as high res PDF. The single cards format is perfect to attach on the fridge or by the computer. 

While I was on Etsy I had a good look around for more calendars and the choice is vast, my eye was caught by a different options. Calendars don’t come much greener than this perpetual magnet calendar by Color Story Designs. For starters it is a perpetual calendar so you can use it over and over again and if that wasn’t enough the magnets are made out of recycled magazines. Each calendar set comes with all of the letters to complete the 12 months of the year, a white magnet board and a black ribbon for hanging.
