The Butterfly Farm in Stratford-Upon-Avon
I would like to welcome
Visit Britain’s new video on board. The video on the right hand column is part of the Itinerary series that explore holiday destinations in the United Kingdom and show you how to visit each of them in a day. The video we have here is all about Stratford-Upon-Avon, Shakespeare’s hometown, and all that history that comes with this popular destination. Besides the Shakespeare based attractions, I am particularly keen on the Butterfly Farm that looks like just the place kids would love to visit. At the Butterfly Farm children can see hundreds of the world’s most colourful and spectacular butterflies flying all around them within a tropical rainforest reproduced environment. They will be able to see with their own eyes the butterfly life cycle in the Caterpillar Room as well as discover a whole new world on insects in the Insect City section. The Butterfly Farm is open all year round with special activities taking place during the school holidays. Children younger than three go free and special discounts are offered to groups and families. Visit the
Butterfly Farm website for more detailed information.
