Celebrate Book Week with a theme: Dinosaurs Books
To keep them in chronological order we have a Touchy Feely Dinosaur as part of our baby and toddler book collection.
Dinosaurs Love Underpants by Claire Freedman is a fun read with young children who love the funny illustrations. This book is also good for early readers to start reading alone.
The Big Book of Dinosaurs: a first book for young children is a colourful collection of images and drawings that are totally fascinating for your children.
Dinosaurs by Stephanie Turnbull, is a very good beginners book with simple facts about dinosaurs such as dinosaur types, characteristics and their habitat. The drawings are colourful and fact based.
Dino-Dinners by Mick Manning and Brita Granström in collaboration with the Natural History Museum is a fantastic book about what dinosaurs ate and how they got their food. The large pictures are very entertaining for young children and the facts-filled bar for each dino makes it also factual and informative for older children. This book is just as enjoyable for parents to read to their children and for children to read themselves.
Finally the Age of the Dinosaur by Steve Parker is a great colourful book full of facts about dinosaurs, the world they lived in and the discoveries scientist made which led to what we know today. The puzzles and games make it fun and educational for older children who are studying them in school already.
