A weaved Nativity worth sharing even if we are in Spring
I know Christmas is a long way away, but I could not resist to share this amazing Nativity made of wool by a very talented nun in Bethnal Green. She makes these every year to raise money for the community and they are absolutely gorgeous.
I was chatting to a friend at the weekend about how I was getting back into the art of crochet, which I used to be able to do quite well as a young girl but years of inactivity left my knowledge rather cloudy, so to cut a long story short after spending a couple of days with my mum last month over in Sardinia I had a few refreshment lessons and I am now back on enough to integrate it with my recycled crafts, so she showed me these pieces though not crochet, but weaved, and there I was laying them in the garden in the middle of May to take this pictures to share. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.
