story-box

I have recently discovered Story Box, a great magazine come book for 3 to 6 year olds packed with great contents. Each issue has a story, a section on animals with facts and pictures, a science feature with whizkid Q&As and plenty of fun games such as number puzzles, colouring activities and spot the differences. A kid’s mag wouldn’t be such without some good comics; Story box has actually two comics: the adventures of Sam Sam the kid cosmic hero and the Lovetts family stories. There is also a competition to spark little ones’ creativity and a rhyme at the end. We loved the Alphabet Battle story on last month’s issue, a creative take on how the letters got to follow the order we know with a little fighting in between for each letter wanted to be first…a topic that is very close to young children’s heart.

Story Box is printed on good quality paper with good quality content, a magazine come book to collect and cherish. Story Box is published by Bayard, who also publish Adventure Box for 6-9 year olds and Discovery Box for older kids aged between 9 and 12.
