Beach fun: unusual sand sculptures
My son is fascinated by the popular TV program Art Attack. The best part is the inspiration he gets from artist/presenter Neil to use different art materials and techniques, which he then puts into practice. He is particularly fond of the giant art creations with everyday objects viewed from the air. Throughout the series Neil showed us some fantastic art attacks including giant pictures made entirely of poppy seeds or salt. As a result of such artistic input even the basic sand castle has become an art attack, so while we were enjoying the last of the summer sun yesterday, with a little help from daddy, our boy made a sand sculpture picturing a formula 1 car, which deserved to be captured on camera.
