Happy Halloween
Today is Halloween and this year we have a real pumpkin for the first time. When we lived in Sardinia it was near to impossible to get a pumpkin so we used our imagination to make alternative jack-o’-lanterns with creative outcomes. My favourites were the fishbowl turned into a pumpkin and the pumpkin cushion we made last year. This year we are in Barcelona and you can find pumpkins everywhere, I got mine at the local supermarket for only four Euros and it even came with black stickers to mark the eyes and mouth, which made it easier to cut, though we changed the shape a little to make it scarier.
I wish I could say I carved it myself, but the honour went to the man of the house and I think he did a very good job.
