I have so many pinecones this year that I can just make lots of different decorations. Today I have a very simple yet effective decoration, which is fun to make with kids as it just requires painting with different colours. To make a colourful plate of pinecones to use as a centerpiece all you need is pinecones, different colour paint and brushes.

We painted our pinecones in many different ways; solid colour, quick brush and we also made a few with glue and glitter.
